The benchmark

Industrial geometry deserves industrial precision.

General-purpose 3D benchmarks reward visual plausibility. Mechanical engineering demands something stricter: exact dimensions, valid topology, manufacturable features, and programs that remain editable.

Every OmniMech sample starts from a native SolidWorks part and its orthographic drawing, then expands into a rich multimodal record for training and evaluation.

Four evaluation tracks

A benchmark for the complete reconstruction loop.

From reading a drawing to verifying a manufactured form, OmniMech evaluates the capabilities that must work together.

01

Parametric CAD program synthesis

Generate executable programs that construct valid, editable 3D objects directly from mechanical drawings.

02

Diagram-to-3D reasoning

Recover geometry, topology, occluded structure, and cross-view consistency from orthographic evidence.

03

Annotation-grounded reasoning

Interpret dimensions, symbols, and feature callouts, then enforce them as geometric constraints.

04

Tool-augmented reconstruction

Use visualization, measurement, CAD execution, and verification tools to iteratively refine a model.

Dataset statistics

Today's models see the shape. They miss the design intent.

OmniMech spans diverse mechanical applications, part types, geometric complexity, and richly annotated engineering drawings.
